This was the hardest category to judge. On our first review we chose twenty photographs that were good enough to be a national award winner. We spent a lot of time reviewing these. Touchdown Catch: truly a decisive moment. There were so many great football photos but we kept returning to this image. Three elements in one image - both athletes and the soccer ball right between their heads. V Ball Dive: this is a difficult moment to capture. Excellent timing and in the right spot.
