This category had a few strong entries dominated by the protest set that ultimately won. This set of photos was tightly edited with each photo being a powerful image that could have easily stood on its own. Great job by the photographer. The second place image is a great storytelling moment, that is very well framed with every part of the photo relevant to the overall composition. Third place is simply a great image, filled with tension and placing the viewer right in the mix. There were many entries with multiple images that needed to be edited down to just a few photos, each a strong visual representation of the event.
