First Place: The picture was well-composed, well-captioned and told the story of the spot news event. It provided sufficient context to understand the story. Great composition, lighting, story. Second Place: We chose our second place photo because it gives a good sense of the entire scene and the parties involved. Busy and slightly out of focus but was shot well. Caption could have been written more clearly.
