First place felt like the most intentionally and well-captured image of the subject. It is simple but has a nice sense of light and defines the subject well. Second place makes good use of light and stand out for similar reasons as first place. Third place stands out for the unique composition of the subjects and the sense of light. Overall this category could have benefited from more images that sought to capture the essence of the subjects, creative lighting, and simplicity.
