First place was a clear winner capturing another side of the story, not necessarily photographing the victim but others affected. Nice composition in a difficult situation.Second place photo was a nice quiet moment in a chaotic scene . They did a nice job using the stroller to indicate that there was a child affected in the incident. Third place photo got creative and took advantage of nice light.
