Though there were surprisingly few entries, even with the lull in the varsity sports season, this category was one where judges had the most debate and conversation about the narrowing down to three winning entries and the order of them. The first place entry was a fantastic swimming photo with great light and sharpness and was something we hadn't seem much before in a photo capturing swimming.The second place image showed the decisions of the photographer to compose, crop and work with framing and result was unique and creative. The third place image was a high-intensity moment in a soccer game that really had a lot going for it compositional to allow the eye to move throughout the frame.
