1st place: This a compelling image makes good use of framing, layers, and color emphasize the conflict between the scripture reader and the protestors. 2nd place: A fun moment. the symmetry of stride helps, the looks on the other kids' faces. 3rd place: A strong emotional photo from what might typically be a mundane event. The composition leads through the layers and generations. This category had a lot of variety of subject matter and approaches. Better captions would have helped the judges understand the context of many photos.
