Judges were amazed at the lack of entries in this category. Also, we saw too many images that could have used help from better planning, composition and lighting. First place was a nice candid portrait of a basketball official. Some cropping to clean up the image would have made it more impactful. Second used natural light, good composition and body language to interpret the story. Third used solid lighting for a good study of the subjects face.
