Judges Comments

Judges were impressed by the variety of sports covered and the great facial expressions on the athletes. There was a plethora of fine hockey images. First: An excellent moment of the goalie trying to get back to his net with a great expression. One can practically hear the skates digging into the ice as the player attempts to stop. Second: A quirky moment with a good expression, great composition and clean background made possible with a long lens. Third: Great expression on the wrestler.
