First place is a great image of spot news event that actually happened as the photographer was covering a GENW event- great work on the photogs part in adapting to the evolving situation and working with the light available to capture such a strong image. Second place is a great overall of an accident scene where everything in the frames tells part of the story. With the lighting and subject matter in third place- we as the viewers really wanted to know the story behind the image.
