Both sports categories were filled with tough choices. Despite the slew of football photos, the first place shot was just about as good as it gets for a pass play. We loved the kid runner ‘leading’ the pack during an incline part of the marathon. It was nicely layered with a smattering of other runners on the course. We would have lost the woman on the left because her size competes with the lead kid. MMA is tough to shoot, period. We liked it not only for the action but more so for the way it was composed. Mentions go out to the Boise St. football dive in the end zone. A nice wide scene with the official leaning in. Also, the Canyon Ridge volleyball player crashing into the net was a nice grab.
