Both sports action and sports feature were weak categories, probably as a result of high school sports ending. First place was the clear winner. It captured peak action from a unique angle with a clean background. Second place is a nice capture of a star soccer/futbol player pushing off his defender. Third place captured the height of the buck with context of the rodeo. Alternate winner is more of sports feature that was executed nicely.
