The first place image has a wonderful expression on the youngster nuzzling the soft coat being handed out. We also love the composition of the image with another youngster peeking straight into the camera. Second place is a lovely and lighthearted moment in what is a tough and often bleak situation for the subjects photographed. Third place is a strong series of images which each build on the others and has the making of a nice photo story.
