Another surprisingly strong category. We're used to having few choices and here we had many, and several really strong examples of storytelling. Vintage Bowling was strong visually from start to finish,no wasted shots, no redundancy, a variety of images from different perspectives using light well. The subject might not be gritty, but the execution was more than good enough to get the top spot. Second place went to the youth football story with a nice variety of images and situations all technically well done. Third place was the best of several offerings from Puerto Rico. There were a few redundant images but even those were strong technically and well composed and with good use of light.
