We like Pappy in "After the Storm" Many other entries showing hurricane coverage were cluttered and dull. The photographer told his story and we cared. Simple and effective. Second place, a multiple entry, was good overall coverage. We could tell the photographer worked hard to create a diverse selection of images and gathered plentiful information. Third place had nice emotion but could have been shot tighter.
