At first we questioned the composition of the first place winner but it seems to work well with the clouds in the sky and the “Barrel of Monkeys” look to the suspended marines. In second place, the photographer was able to get in close to the children without any of them staring at the camera. Nice set of expressions. And we liked the ability of the photographer to capture planes and foreground in the third place winner.
