By far, this was the most difficult category to judge. Many of the entries were more sports action, than sports feature. There were lots of compelling moments in this category. First place immediately rose above the rest. Great work by the photojournalists here in seeing what was going on at the game, beyond focusing on just the action onthe field (or track).
