This category was difficult because the ones we liked the most all deserved a top spot, but, alas we can only choose one. First goes to a series that really made us feel something. You can tell the photographer really built a relationship with this family through the images which only made the story stronger. Second place also really made us feel something and had a great variety of scenes and feelings that kept us interested the whole way through. It was beautifully toned and had a nice use of black and white. Third was another example of the photographer making the family they followed comfortable which shown through the images. Despite the story taking place almost always in one location, each frame had variety and the use of light was always on point.
