The photo story that we chose for first place was easily the best entry in this category. The photographs show that the photographer was able to gain trust allowing them to capture intimate moments with the family. The second series that we selected shows a solid ability to tell a story in one day with nice moments and a variety of compositions. We chose not to award a third place because we felt no other entries had a strong enough story arc to tell a complete story.
