There are a good number of very well-done human interest photographs. They showed the lighter side of life. First Place has a newsworthy element and is aesthetically very layered with a great moment. Second Place of the moon also has that newsworthy value. We all think the photographer does really well conveying the size and the power of that event. The photographer lines up the elements. Third Place is just a great moment with a look inside a culture. All of these have information for the reader.
