Judges Comments

First is a strong image capturing the grief of a brother at the vigil for his slain sister. The interaction between the parents is intriguing, adding that extra layer of storytelling to the image. We really loved the fun moment in second place but the emotion in first won out. Second was also a surprising moment photographed well. We struggled to find a third place for this category as well but went with the emotion.
