Judges Comments

There were some nice photo essays and stories. Some had a few too many images in them and weakened their overall strength. First place didn't have this problem and was a fantastic look at a mother taking care of her daughter after a horrible car accident. Images were strong, moving and took the judges deep into their lives. Excellent work! Second place was an essay on a track meet. Well composed images and the photographer put him or herself in great position to make some outstanding images. Third place was a nice set of pictures on a young bull rider.
