After the first place entry that immediately got our votes, second and third place were hard to decide on. What a tragic accident well photographed by the reaction of the construction worker. The photographer was able to capture an image that can be used for future good. We picked the plane crash for second place because the two images were able to explain the scene and the caption information was well done. We picked the shooting scene photo story for third. There were a few redundant photographs and the one of the group of people standing over the victim would have won by itself but the collection did tell a complete story.
